About Us

Jolienne Moore

Jolienne Moore developed a passion for the arts at a young age, studying and performing music, dance and art in various mediums. She spent a number of years working in health and fitness and as a freelance writer, before beginning her career in sales and marketing, gaining extensive experience and recognition for top performance both locally and internationally.

Since 2004 Jolienne has been booking and choreographing fashion shows and special events. In 2007 she formed JL Model Talent Management Inc. bringing her flair for the entertainment industry, and extensive experience in the areas of sales, marketing and communication to the Agency.

Jolienne has attended, organized and judged several Model & Talent Showcases and is a Certified Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming.

She loves spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, paddle boarding, running, dancing, creating and preparing healthy recipes, happy people and all things vintage.

Amber Carroll

Amber Carroll’s extensive career in the talent industry began as a child with dance and stage performing. She studied Fashion Design and Computerized Accounting before getting into Trust & Management accounting at a law firm and eventually started her own Marketing & Promotions Company for the music industry.

Amber held a variety of judging positions for showcases and conferences and became the Manager of a well known local hardcore/hip-hop group. After organizing a Canadian tour, coordinating and promoting their music video on Muchmusic, and designing and distributing the bands first unique-packaged CD she garnered the attention of multiple record labels and a major-label American producer.

When Amber’s adorable son Ameko came into her life in 2005, she decided to stop the madness and enjoy quality time with her “Meeky Moose” which included acting classes & performances, and a huge amount of travel to auditions. Amber also enjoys fishing (unsuccessfully), dancing, bowling, creative writing, photography, cuddle time, and analyzing talent on ALL reality shows.

Amber has been bringing her experience and expertise to JL Talent since 2009 where she is eagerly helping talented emerging performers get a chance to shine!

COLIN NEUFELD

Hailing from the frozen tundra of the Saskatchewan prairie, Colin, moved to Vancouver in 2003, where he gained extensive experience in the film industry – everything from acting to producing, and other facets of film craft – most recently producing the podcast, LD Don’t Get Me Started, and the short film, Virality. In his younger days, Colin was a high level, multi-discipline athlete and still carries that same team spirit desire to achieve.

AMBER BREEN

Amber grew up in the lower mainland and spent time working and living abroad garnering local and international business expertise. After coming to realize her true passion was in working with people and the arts she began a complete career change. She turned her focus to studying photography, becoming a published photographer including magazines, cover images, and a book deal while joining the JL Team. With her keen photographer’s eye and as a mom to a successful child actor, Amber is a great resource to actors and parents looking to make their mark in the film industry. Her performers have worked on several commercials, TV shows and Films.

JUNE MAEDA

June grew up in the Lower Mainland where she has worked as a Registered Nurse for 20 years. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Victoria, with work experience in pediatric palliative care, long-term care, home-care, and for the past 12 years, medical acute care. She is always up for new adventures and challenges, recently obtaining her provincial broker licence to educate families on financial literacy. Her experience in film began when her youngest daughter took an interest in the industry, which lead to Mama June and all three girls working on many productions over the years – where she got asked where her chaperone was!

June’s limitless energy and drive, backed with her caring, approachable nature and ability to adapt makes her an ideal fit for a busy agency. When she’s not working, she’s travelling with her family to any location with a beach and Disney!!
